Anthony White and Van Hiles Conduct a Touching Tribute For John Schlarman

John Schlarman was an outstanding man, an exceptional human being. Over the past couple of days the nation has come to realize what the Big Blue Nation has know for decades. The phrase “nobody has a bad word to say about him” get thrown around loosely, but that really was the case about John Schlarman and yet, by all accounts, that phrase still didn’t do him justice.

As expected, there have been many tributes and fond reflections of the former UK O-lineman and O-line coach. UK Athletics and UK football have done an exceptional job on social media. Current players have expressed themselves as well.

Former players, coaches and teammates have done the same. Anthony White and Van Hiles had a wonderful video tribute for “Schlar Daddy” on their show The “Locker” which airs every Tuesday and Thursday night at 9:00 PM Eastern.

Their guests were: Bill Curry, Guy Morriss, Tim Couch, Craig Yeast, Mark Buerger, Curtis Burch, Lamont Smith, Harold Dennis, Anwar Stewart, Lance Mickelson, and Max Godby.

They covered all the bases. Former coaches, guys who played with him, guys who coached him, guys who covered him and guys who were coached by him. If you haven’t seen it, it’s well worth your time to watch it. Check out the link right here.
